Just the beginning

I have known to be a lover of food, and with the constant posts of food on Facebook I have finally decided to create a food blog. I think to start off I will post some interesting foods that I have obtained from overseas.

My friend Yoko went to Japan during the uni break and brought back Green tea, Blueberry cheesecake, Wasabi and Green tea and Cherry blossom flavoured Kit Kats. They were all very nice (surprisingly). Blueberry cheesecake tasted the best! It was creamy and sweet and tasted like cake. The Wasabi one didn't have a very strong wasabi taste but it was definitely interesting. Green tea tasted exactly like green tea and was coloured green. Green Tea and Cherry Blossom had the same taste of white chocolate, with little to no flavour of cherry blossom. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE KIT KATS YOKO! <3

I went to Vietnam earlier in the year to visit the family, and of course you come across some interesting food and definitely great food experiences. From eating food on the streets, to eating $1 bowls of Pho for a late night snack and to being conned by your family to eating dog meat (definitely not one of my proudest moments but something to always remember). After a trip of good and random food, here is what I came back with:

Meltykiss and various oreo

Meltykiss chocolates are one of my favourite chocolates, it just melts in your mouth. Only found in some areas of Asia and are only made when it is Winter in Asia, as due to the creaminess they would melt in the summer heat.

Good food, good times!
